Naomi J Hall is one of Australia’s most experienced visual content researchers and producers.

For 20 plus years Naomi worked as a freelance archive producer on a multitude of television and silver screen productions — stand-outs including The Tall Man (Tony Krawitz), Liberal Rule (Nick Torrens), Paper Giants: The Birth of Cleo (Daina Reid), Pauline Hanson: Please Explain! (Anna Broinowski), The Beatles: Eight Days a Week (Ron Howard), Women He’s Undressed (Gillian Armstrong), Brabham (Akos Armont) and Maralinga Tjarutja (Larissa Behrendt).

In 2021 Naomi switched on Research Engine, extending services to an ever-increasing demand for archive content.

Lilly Powell

Lilly Powell is a dynamic researcher and producer, with almost a decade’s experience in the screen industry. She cut her teeth as Naomi’s research assistant and went on to establish her career across a plethora of productions and formats — including producing on Travel Guides, post-production on MasterChef, content producing on Gogglebox, and researching for documentaries such as Afghanistan: Inside Australia’s War and The Go-Betweens: Right Here. She has first-hand experience in field, production and post-production, giving her a unique depth and breadth of understanding on how to make great content.

Nicknamed ‘The Bloodhound’ by Naomi, she loves a challenge, and digging deep into a research rabbit hole.
